Short Interview with Christiane Demenat

I am Christiane Demenat. I have a dialogue with stone and free ideas layer by layer. At first, the stone is so hard and impenetrable.

The sound of working on stone fascinates me

so since 1995 this material has been my favorite. I started with marble and I have also discovered alabaster. I also have created bronze works over the last years. For me, art is existential and I feel the need to create art.
