Short Interview with Lea Jade

I am Lea Jade. In my paintings, music plays an important role. In some of my pictures I apply over 30 layers of paint. I listen to the sounds and the impressions of harmonies over melody courses in layers until I finally create the whole composition.

The expression is not just tone by tone, it is a melody. The harmony is what you ultimately experience and so it is reflected on the canvas.
